A Brief Tour of the Stair Inn

On the ground floor there is the bar - a warm and welcoming traditional country pub with a snug area, and a lovely 45 cover dining room. In good weather alfresco wining and dining are very popular in our spacious ‘beer garden’ and patio area.

The spacious, very attractive bedrooms are all located on the first floor.

The Inn is refurbished but has retained the old country inn atmosphere. In the bar area you can enjoy your meal sitting by the log fire (a must during the winter) or if you prefer you can eat in the dining room – still very informal, but just a little less ‘casual’.

The rooms feature country pine furniture and terracotta coloured duvet covers. All are ensuite.

Excellent lit free on site car parking is available for guests.

We are listed in the new Hidden Inns of South West Scotland and are described as having ‘3 star city hotel quality rooms in a country Inn’.

We are also the only 3 star graded Inn, in the Ayrshire Area Tourist Board
