Here’s what some of our customers say:

What a fantastic Inn. Stayed here for 4 nights with two friends on a golf break. Excellent service, friendly staff and locals, wonderful food and good location. Go here - don't book a hotel, go to the Stair Inn.

I can’t say that I'm a local to this inn, as the last time I went there was at Christmas when visiting a friend. However go there every night I'm visiting friends nearby.

It is the only pub in approx 3 Miles, located in a small village. However the pub boasts Real Ales brewed in Scotland. Which is very unusual in these parts. In fact it’s the only place you can get a real ale until you get to a Wetherspoons pub in AYR.

The inn is very small and cosy, everyone’s friendly. Even to a visiting Englishman like myself.

The Food is great, do recommend a Sunday roast or one of there celebration nights specials like Burns, Christmas, St Andrews Day etc. However it is not the cheapest in Ayrshire, but the best you will get in the whole area.

There are lovely Bed & Breakfast facilities in the inn, which make it a ideal stop over if you are heading to or from Prestwick Airport (approximately 7 Miles Away)

If you are into a bit of Local Folk Music, this is the place to go. As every month there's a get together of local singers and musicians.
