The superb, uncomplicated cuisine at Stair Inn has won many accolades over the years.
Our chefs will prepare your meal from a range of local Ayrshire produce, delivered fresh to the inn every day. Fresh fish, shellfish and vegetarian dishes are always on the menu. Evening Meal and Lunch menus are always available.
And the menus at Stair Inn read easily. No fancy phrases, or even much detail about cooking methods, so the impact - when the food is delivered - is all the greater. There aren't many meals that make you wonder what tricks the chef has pulled off to make the food taste this good.
We are passionate about great, simple dining experiences – so we just cook Scottish classics, oft with a subtle international twist, with skill and polish.
The inn is one of Ayrshire’s most popular and favourite country eating out experiences. Much of our produce, including wonderful Scotch beef, comes from the surrounding farms and our local farmers are very discerning about how their endeavours are presented and flavoured on the plate, yet are some of our very best regular customers so there is a local recommendation if ever there was one!
