superb, uncomplicated cuisine at Stair Inn has won many accolades

and wine from around the world.
And dining at Stair Inn is a truly sublime country inn style experience.
The ‘dining room’ is an oasis of calm, cosy and characterful
with lovely views of the rolling surrounding countryside. It has
a simple elegance all of its own, perfectly complemented by candle-light
in the evening. Here guests can linger over lunch or enjoy a leisurely
dinner; and the service is exceptionally good. You need to feel
good to enjoy really good food to the full and the carefully and
tastefully judged ambience, atmosphere and service in the restaurant
will really invoke that true feeling of wellbeing.
Casual dining in the bar with its roaring log fire, presents a
lovely foil and gentle alternative to the dining room.
