We aim to be the most rewarding, value for money 3 star country inn experience in Ayrshire. We are proud of our 3 star inn grading from Visit Scotland, and while many, especially from overseas are confused by these gradings, they will quickly discover not only general excellence in service and quality of our facilities, which we regularly benchmark against the trade standards, but a rather special and unique helping of individuality which no trade standard can really measure.

But the most important ‘awards’ we receive are the accolades and the countless letters and words of thanks and appreciation from customers, past and present. Far more satisfying than any plaque on the wall although we have plenty of these too.

The infectious, addictive charm, personality and character of our cosy little inn transcends most awards in the thoughts and minds of our guests.

We are also a member of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and feature regularly in the National Good Beer Guides.
